This Week, Discover the Wild Peace of Agarwood
Since we first launched, our essential oil-based products have been used by thousands of people across the world. But one of our pillars has been, since the beginning, a smell best described by our founder, Irene Assatiani, as "peacefully wild."
Agarwood is a sacred tree from East Asia. Ancient Chinese authors as early as in the 3rd century would describe it as one of the most interesting smells coming from today's Vietnam. In an antique book called "Strange Things from the South", a Chinese prince described the tough process of collecting agarwood oil from mountainous areas.
At Therapia by Aroma, we decided to reintroduce agarwood into our line of essential oil-based cosmetics. Its shades of vanilla and musk, its later smells of resin, cork, and wild flower can make any agarwood product a perfect gift for men and women.
In our Miami laboratory, we have designed the "Oud" line, including perfumes, lotions, oils, candles, and more.
